Nerstonia Manor

Nerstonia1 This is my first shot at doing some new type of building concepts, some turned out well... Others... well.. they need a little more work. I'm sure as I try to do a few more things besides building a box with wall pieces I'll be able to do a lot more, Granted, some of it is limited by what I have to build with too :( Needless to say, WATCH out in those part auctions :) I give those of you that build bigger roofs credit, I got so tired of this one falling apart on me..

Nerstonia2 Front on view with the side wall closed. Sorry these pics are a little dark, it was the middle of winter when I took the pics.. not quite the right lighting outside :( and I've already taken this apart so there's no way of retaking the pics.

Nerstonia3 Backside View with the Wall open, you can see the outcropping and windows on the "side" of the building, I wanted to do these a little different, though didn't have the parts I needed :(

Nerstonia4 Side view, with the Kings balcony, from here he commands his troops. There are also 2 turrets on this side, the men really need to be agile and wise to make it into them.

Nerstonia5 Inside, I created a small throne for the King and Queen, which Jill and Gary happen to be sitting on right now :) I know they really shouldn't be there, though I thought maybe I'd add some of these pics to the MFWT if we can get that back up and running again.

Nerstonia6 Top view, It's 3 ladder levels down to the inside of the castle. There's a small room to the north of the ladder, here is where the princess stays when she's visiting the King and Queen.

Nerstonia7 Here you can see the Princess's balcony that overlooks the whole inside of the castle, Right next to her room is where the Wizard does his mixing of potions and spell creation.

Nerstonia8 Lower level, You can see the Jail cell for anyone that doesn't follow King's Law.

Nerstonia9 Here you get a good look at the turrets, The men need to be agile enough to climb out the window and up the wall into the watch area. They are also required to stay there for 24 hours. Then they will change the guard and give the first set some time to sleep. There are only 4 men in the Kings regime that are able to make this climb.
